On May 17, 2023, another round of political consultations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Federal Republic of Germany was held in Berlin under the leadership of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Muzaffar Husseynzoda, and the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Eastern European, the Caucasus, and Central Asian countries Matthias Lüttenberg.

The Political Director of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany Ms. Tjorven Bellmann and the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany Imomuddin Sattorov also took part in this event.

During the talks, the interlocutors exchanged constructive views on the current situation and prospects for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany in various fields, including politics, trade, economics, investment, science, culture and security.

 

 

 

 

Also, during the talks the parties focused on cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations.

The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
