We commemorate with great sadness and grief the 80th anniversary of the exile of the Crimean Tatar Turks by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on 18 May 1944.

80 years ago, today, hundreds of thousands of Crimean Tatars were forcibly uprooted from their motherland and exiled to the labour camps in various countries. A large number of them, mostly elderly, children and women, lost their lives because of the inhumane conditions they were exposed to. The usurped rights of the Crimean Tatar people have not been restored and their sufferings have yet to be alleviated even after 80 years. The illegal annexation of Crimea has opened door for new sufferings.

As in the past, Türkiye will continue to stand by the Crimean Tatars in order to preserve their identity and ensure their security, welfare and well-being.

 

 

 

“Circassian Exile” is another tragedy Türkiye recalls with sorrow. On May 21, 160 years ago, the peoples of the Caucasus were forced to leave their homeland under dire conditions, resulting in the loss of many lives.

We share the pain of the Crimean Tatars and the peoples of the Caucasus and respectfully honour their memory.

Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, ülkeye dönüşünde düzenlediği basın toplantısında, Gambiya’daki zirvede Kıbrıs Türk halkını en iyi şekilde temsil ettiklerini ve başarılı bir zirve olduğunu kaydetti.

Kendilerine gösterilen yakın ilgiden dolayı Gambiya Cumhurbaşkanı ve İslam İşbirliği Teşkilatı Genel Sekreteri’ne teşekkür eden Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, İslam İşbirliği Teşkilatı’nın güçlü bir organizasyon olduğuna işaret ederek, BM’den sonra ikinci büyük organizasyonda KKTC’nin gözlemci statüsünde yer almasının önemini vurguladı.

Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, zirvede, Kıbrıs Türk halkının maruz bırakıldığı haksızlıklar, izolasyonlar ve Rum baskısını anlattıklarını, Kıbrıs Türk halkının beklentisi olan izolasyonların kaldırılmasına destek verilmesini istediklerini söyledi.

Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, bu çağda bu ambargoların insanlık dışı olduğunu söylediklerini ve kaldırılması için destek talep etmek yanında karşılıklı kültür, turizm, eğitim gibi her alanda ilişkilerin geliştirilmesini istediklerini ifade etti.

Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin her süreçte yanlarında olduğunu, devletin statüsünün artırılması ve oradaki her görüşmenin kayda geçmesi adına destek verdiğini ifade eden Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, desteğe teşekkür etti.

“Başarılı bir ziyaret oldu, KKTC ve halkımızın sesini duyurduk, temsil ettik” diyen Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, toplantılarda, Gazze’de yaşanan insanlık dışı saldırıların da geniş bir şekilde ele alındığını kaydetti.

Aynı saldırılara maruz kalan Kıbrıs Türk halkının şansının Türkiye Cumhuriyeti olduğunu, bu yüzden en erken zamanda Gazze’de yaşananların son bulmasını temenni eden Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, bu yıl kutlanacak Kıbrıs Barış Harekatının 50. Yıl törenlerine İslam İşbirliği Teşkilatı yetkililerini de davet ettiğini söyledi.

Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti olarak uluslararası organizasyonlarda yerlerini almaları ve statüsünün yükselmesi adına çalışmaya devam edeceklerini ifade ederek, bölgede yaşanan savaşlar yanında pandemi sürecine rağmen Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyetinin dimdik ayakta durmasının, barış, huzur ve güvenin korunmasının, “istikrar ve başarı” olduğunu belirtti.

“Hedef bu barış huzur ve güvenin devamıdır” diyen Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, bu yüzden Kıbrıs’ta, yeni siyaset zemininde iki devletli çözümün doğru olduğunu söyledi.

Bu hafta görüşeceği BM Genel Sekreterinin Kişisel temsilcisinin de uğraşları olduğunu, ancak federal bir çözüm için ortak zemin olmadığını ifade eden Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, bu hafta Rum lider ve kendisiyle görüşmeleri olacağını, orada da yeniden kendisine yeni siyasetin anlatılacağını kaydetti.

“Yeni siyasette değişiklik veya geri adım asla yoktur” diyen Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, Türkiye ile birlikte bu sürecin tam uyum içerisinde yürütüldüğünü, müzakerelerin yeni siyaset temelinde başlayabileceğini, federal temelde bir çözümün tükendiğini söyledi.

 

 

 

 

Yeni siyasetin aynen devam ettiğini yineleyen Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, BM ve tüm ilgili çevrelere bunu anlatmaya devam edeceklerini vurguladı.

Addressing the 13th Meeting of Labor Assembly, held under the theme of ‘The Future of Labor, Union Organizing and Employment’, President Erdoğan said: “We have taken many historic steps in the past 21 years in the fields of union rights and freedoms besides wages and employment.”

 

 


 

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the 13th Meeting of Labor Assembly, held under the theme of ‘The Future of Labor, Union Organizing and Employment,’ at the Exhibition Hall of the Presidential Complex.

Highlighting the steps taken with an inclusive approach in the past 21 years to increase the welfare of workers, employers, civil servants, merchants and farmers, President Erdoğan stated: “In consultation with you, we have put into force regulations regarding labor law, social security reform, occupational health and safety, and union law. We have introduced historic hikes in minimum wage through maximum consensus between employees and employers. We have raised net minimum wage to TL17,002 in 2024, up 49 per cent from July and 100 per cent from January.”

 

 

 

 

“TÜRKİYE EXPERIENCES ALL-TIME HIGH IN EMPLOYMENT IN ITS HISTORY”

Noting that the minimum wage support, initiated in 2016, has been increased to TL700 per insured person as of July 2024, President Erdoğan said: “With the abolishment of taxes on the minimum wage, we have introduced tax exemption for earnings up to the minimum wage in all income groups. Our country experiences all-time high in employment in its history. Our employment figures have reached 32,423 million.”

 

 

 

 

 

“We have taken many historic steps in the past 21 years in the fields of union rights and freedoms besides wages and employment,” stressed President Erdoğan, adding: “With the Law on Unions and Collective Bargaining, we have had the opportunity to amend after 29 years the law the putschists enacted in 1983. Having taken civil servants’ right to collective bargaining under constitutional protection, we have granted our civil servants the right to collective bargaining. We have concluded the collective bargaining processes of workers and civil servants mostly through consensus. The number of union-member workers have increased from 1 million in 2013 to 2.5 million currently. We have also instituted the payment of collective bargaining bonus to union-member civil servants once every three months.”

Prezident Vladimir Putin çıxış edərək dedi: Hörmətli İlham Heydər oğlu, Sizi görməyimə çox şadam. Biz sonuncu dəfə Sizinlə telefonla danışmışdıq. Əlbəttə, açıq demək lazımdır ki, burada bir nömrəli məsələ Qarabağ ətrafındakı vəziyyətdir. Bizim başqa gündəliyimiz də var, o, kifayət qədər genişdir. Təklif edirəm ki, işimizi aşağıdakı kimi quraq: onda biz ikinci hissədən başlaya bilərik, həmkarlarımıza öz fikirlərini söyləməyə, danışmağa imkan verək. Regionlararası əməkdaşlıq məsələsinə toxunularaq, Azərbaycanın Rusiyanın 70 regionu ilə uğurlu əməkdaşlığı qeyd edildi, bu xüsusda mütəmadi əsasda keçirilən regionlararası forumun vacib platforma olduğu bildirildi.

 

 

 

Söhbət zamanı Şimal-Cənub Nəqliyyat Dəhlizinin inkişafından, onun potensialının genişləndirilməsindən və bütövlükdə həm dəmir yolu, həm də avtomobil yolları vasitəsilə yükdaşımaların həcminin bu marşrut boyunca artmasından məmnunluq ifadə olundu.

 

 

 

Humanitar sahədə əməkdaşlığın uğurla inkişaf etdiyi vurğulandı, bu baxımdan Azərbaycanda rus dilinə qayğı, xeyli sayda ali və orta təhsil müəssisəsində rus dilinin tədrisi qeyd edildi.

Söhbət zamanı kənd təsərrüfatı sahəsində əməkdaşlığın genişləndirilməsinin önəminə də toxunuldu.

On March 2, 2023, on occasion of the upcoming UN 2023 Water Conference scheduled to be held in New York on March 22-24, 2023, official joint event by the Embassies of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands was organized in Seoul. The event was attended by distinguished leaders and representatives from relevant structures of the Republic of Korea, as well as international institutions specializing in the fields of water and climate.

During the address, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Korea Sharifzoda Yusuf presented information on the United Nations’ endorsement of the Republic of Tajikistan’s initiatives on the resolution “2025 – International Year of Glacier Preservation”, as well as the administrative arrangements for the upcoming UN Water Conference, which will be co-chaired by the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
