On March 9, 2023, in Paris, in Elysee Palace, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the French Republic Jamoliddin Ubaidullo held a meeting with the Adviser of the President of France on Continental Europe and Turkey Ms. Isabelle Dumont.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the French Republic.

On March 6, 2023, at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, as part of the information meeting on UNESCO’s participation in the UN Water Conference (March 22-24, 2023, New York), a briefing was held by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to UNESCO Mr.Jamoliddin Ubaidullo in preparation for the upcoming conference.

During his speech, the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan informed about the international initiatives of Tajikistan on water issues and the arrangements for the UN Water Conference co-chaired by the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, as well as about the importance of this event for the international community. Mr. Ubaidullo urged the meeting participants to make a greater contribution and actively participate in the conference and the implementation of its results.

It should be noted that more than 200 representatives of countries and organizations of the world took part in this meeting in offline and online formats.

On January 25, 2023 in Milan, on the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Italian Republic (headquartered in Paris) a presentation of investment and tourism opportunities of Tajikistan was held. More than 200 Italian entrepreneurs and investors took part in this event.

During the event, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Italian Republic Jamoliddin Ubaidullo provided detailed information to the audience about the political, economic and social achievements of the country during the period of independence, its strategic goals and state programs, banking system, favorable business environment and various investment projects, as well as abundant trade, economic and tourism opportunities.
