On December 11, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan, Tashihiro Aiki, in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan and exchanged views on upcoming contacts between the two countries at the highest levels.
